The Rev. Barbara Williamson, Rector
After several years with Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young),
Barbara left public accounting to serve the church. Educated at the Episcopal Seminary in
Alexandria, Virginia, and ordained in her late 30’s, Barbara has been a priest since.
After serving for six years as an associate rector in a congregation in Milwaukee, she came to St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church in 1998, and relishes the ministry she shares with the congregation. A high energy and fun loving person, she particularly enjoys preaching, pastoral care, Christian formation, welcoming newcomers, and working with youth.
A contemplative by nature, she is dedicated to a life of prayer and service. Barbara says, "My job is to nurture and challenge the congregation to be its most faithful self." Barbara is married to Peter Wenner, also a priest, and they reside in West Newton. You may contact her at through the office or by email.
Mary Sue Willie, Music Director and Organist
As an organist for nearly 50 years, she has served churches in New York State and Massachusetts and as chair of the
Diocesan Music Commission for the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. Mary Sue and her husband, Charles, live in Concord
and are members of Christ Church Cambridge where she served as Interim Organist, on the Vestry and as co-chair of Stewardship
as well as the recent Capital Campaign for a new organ with a tithe to the Barbara Harris Camp.
